Hey, I'm Jojo, a multidisciplinary creative.

Over the past decade I've moved between different forms of communication — film, photography, visual design, and writing. Not because I think I'm good at all of it, but because I've never been able to separate how something looks from what it's trying to say.

Mostly self-taught. Started young — making travel vlogs before I knew what they were, figuring out how to remove a stranger running through the background of a shot, learning by experimenting and then experimenting again. What I've come to understand is that the work is rarely about the brief. It's about finding the story underneath, and how best to tell it.

Away from work I slow down. I walk, hike, read and journal and let ideas sit longer than is useful. I notice the way skies move, and allow myself to live in the moment. I think this is where most of my ideas take shape.

For projects, for meaning, and for the places I find myself in.
